Course Overview

Air Navigation emphasizes the principles and practices needed for navigation of aircraft from one point to another efficiently and safely. This course covers several navigation techniques, the usage of navigational aids, and the influence of different navigation factors.

Eligibility

  • Qualification: The student should at least be12th Class or equivalent (minimum) with mathematics and physics
  • Age: It should be between 18 - 65 yrs

What you'll learn

  • Fundamentals of air navigation, such as longitude, latitude, and calculations of time.
  • Usage of navigation instruments and systems, like VOR, GPS, and DME.
  • Flight planning and route plotting.
  • Understanding of deviation, magnetic variation, and compass errors.
  • Emergency navigation processes.
