Aircraft Aviation Meteorology

The course in Aviation Meteorology offers all the aspirants a deep dive into the study of weather and its effects on the operations of aviation. This course teaches people about the interpretation of forecasting techniques, weather data, and how weather influences flight safety.

• Qualification: The minimum qualification needed to enroll in the course is 12th Class or equivalent with physics & mathematics as subjects
• Age: The age of the student should be between 18 - 65 years

• There will be learning about the basic meteorological terminology and concepts.
• Students will be taught how to analyse and interpret weather charts and forecasts.
• Impact of diverse weather conditions on the operation of the flights.
• How to make use of meteorological instruments and tools.
• Understanding of severe weather phenomena, like turbulence, thunderstorms, and icing.
• Strategies for weather-related decision-making in flight planning and operations.
